Adhesive Transfer Tape 467MP

The 3M™ High-Performance Adhesive 200MP is an industry standard for graphic and industrial bonding applications. It provides excellent adhesion to metals and high-surface-energy (HSE) plastics. Its firmness allows for initial repositioning on certain plastics in case of application errors. Additionally, it performs well under moisture exposure and thermal cycling, resists temperatures up to 204°C (400°F), solvents, and offers superior performance under shear stress.

Excellent for Bonding Metals and HSE Plastics

We designed the 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 467MP with a 2.3 mil adhesive thickness for applications such as splicing and laminating involving metals and HSE plastics. This high-performance adhesive offers exceptional shear strength to resist edge lifting and slippage. It is mounted on a 58 lb polyethylene-coated kraft liner that virtually eliminates curling, wrinkling, and buckling, ensuring efficient release.

This adhesive transfer tape resists solvents, moisture, and humidity, while also withstanding heat (up to 400°F/204°C for short durations).

What Are Adhesive Transfer Tapes?

Adhesive transfer tapes are rolls of pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. To apply, simply press the tape adhesive-side down onto a surface and peel off the liner. These tapes are available in a variety of adhesive properties and liners to meet the requirements of applications such as bonding nameplates to high- and low-surface-energy plastics, high-temperature appliance graphic overlays, foam gaskets, web splicing, signs, banners, point-of-purchase displays, and more.
