The Scotch-Brite® Roloc™ Brush Disc, featuring our patented combination of ceramic abrasive grain and aluminum oxide with molded, flexible bristles, offers a larger contact surface than wire brushes and maintains its abrasive properties throughout the disc’s lifespan.

Our fast-acting disc combines superior cutting action with the 3M® Roloc™ quick-change attachment system, allowing you to clean, scrape, deburr, grind, finish, polish, scratch, and remove rust and coatings without damaging the base material. Under normal usage conditions, the bristles remain securely in place, enabling you to achieve the desired finish with light pressure. The Scotch-Brite® Roloc™ Brush Disc works well on steel, aluminum, and a wide variety of metals and is commonly used for general maintenance, automotive applications, and engine rebuilding.

The 3M® Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral manufactured using our patented process to enhance grain hardness and toughness. For greater performance, Scotch-Brite® Brush Discs feature a blend of aluminum oxide mixed with our ceramic abrasive grain to create one of the hardest and longest-lasting minerals available. Ideal for moderate to heavy metal chip removal, ceramic abrasives are designed to cut fast and endure high pressure and intense heat. The 3M® Ceramic Abrasive Grain surpasses the cutting speed and durability of aluminum oxide abrasives, making it an excellent choice for industrial grinding and finishing applications.

Scotch-Brite® abrasives are the only surface conditioning products with abrasives embedded in a non-woven fiber matrix. The combination of abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that provides consistent results throughout the product’s lifespan. The open structure material works without heating up and is resistant to loading, maintaining high-performance cutting by limiting fiber clogging.
