Clean Sanding Disc

The 3M™ Clean Sanding Disc 236U features a unique 3M multi-hole pattern that removes dust more efficiently than products with 5 or 6 holes, significantly extending the life of the disc. The design achieves a perfect balance between the abrasive surface and the dust extraction holes, maximizing cutting performance and optimizing disc lifespan.

The 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system allows for quick and easy disc changes, meaning the abrasive can be used multiple times throughout its life. The solid C-weight paper backing in the Clean Sanding Disc 236U supports more aggressive sanding and minimizes edge wear. This disc excels at both rough sanding and finishing on aluminum and carbon steel, as well as for heavy and medium material removal in wood applications and for finishing hardwoods, softwoods, and composites. Additionally, our Clean Sanding discs perform well on primers, paints, sealers, varnishes, fiberglass, and plastics.

Sanding discs cut better and last longer when dust doesn’t accumulate on the abrasive cutting surface. Reducing dust is easier than ever with 3M Clean Sanding Discs. The low-density grain structure allows for space between the abrasive grains, enabling dust to escape rather than accumulate on the cutting edge. The load-resistant coating allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding soft woods, paints, or other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder its sanding ability.

Our patented multi-hole pattern quickly evacuates dust from the disc. The design does not require the holes to align with the pad of the orbital sander (sold separately), making disc changes faster and easier. The 3M™ Hookit™ system uses a hook-and-loop design that makes changing discs easy and quick. All these features combined enhance productivity and reduce material consumption.
