MELT ADHESIVE

Hot Melt 3748 VO is a 100% solids, thermoplastic, general-purpose adhesive. Our self-extinguishing adhesive does not burn when the combustion source is removed. It offers thermal and electrical properties for printed wiring, circuit boards and other electronic applications. It is also resistant to vibrations or other movements.

We formulate Hot Melt 3748 VO to generate a strong and flexible bond, resistance to shock and vibration. It offers excellent electrical properties making it ideal for use on printed circuit boards and other electronic bonding applications. Adheres well to difficult surfaces such as polyolefins and other plastics. Plus, this versatile and unique formula is non-corrosive to copper and other metals. The use of 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesives evenly distributes stress along the entire bond line. Nuts, bolts, and other fasteners concentrate stress at a point that can decrease the physical properties of the substrates being assembled. The uniform distribution along the bond line provides good fatigue resistance and flexible properties of Hot Melt 3748 VO that minimize stress caused by vibrations or other movements.
