3M™ Low Mist Contact Adhesive 30 is a high-strength, water-dispersed system that provides excellent coverage and immediate bond strength. It features a wide bonding range and good heat resistance. The low mist formula helps reduce waste, offering a cost-effective solution that maximizes coverage when sprayed.
Low Mist Adhesion
3M™ Low Mist Contact Adhesive 30 is a one-part, water-dispersed, low-mist contact system. With a bonding range of up to four hours, it provides high-strength bonding capabilities that withstand elevated temperatures. The low mist formulation enables economical, high-coverage spraying, ensuring efficient adhesive usage. This adhesive is post-formable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable in its wet state, helping reduce fire risk while meeting insurance regulations. It is ideal for decorative laminate applications where non-flammability and low VOC content are critical.
3M™ Low Mist Contact Adhesive 30 is perfect for bonding, attaching, adhering, and assembling a variety of substrates. However, it is not recommended for drywall laminates or bonding metal surfaces.
High Immediate Strength, Long Bonding Range
Designed for success, 3M™ Low Mist Contact Adhesive 30 offers high immediate bond strength with a long bonding range. Its formulation provides an excellent solution for bonding porous-to-porous or porous-to-non-porous substrates with ample placement and repositioning time.
How to Apply the Adhesive
Whether spraying, brushing, or rolling, applying your 3M™ adhesive is a straightforward process. Start by carefully applying the adhesive to the surface until an even coat is formed. Using an overlapping pattern, a single coat should suffice for most surfaces. Effective adhesive coverage is achieved when 80% or more of the surface is covered. Some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional coat. To apply another layer, wait until the existing coat is dry to the touch, then proceed with the additional application.
