Aircraft Cleaning Pad

The Scotch-Brite® Aircraft Cleaning Pad is a non-woven textured fabric made with a unique non-abrasive polymer. The non-abrasive coating increases wet friction, allowing the pad to clean more efficiently than non-woven pads, polyurethane foam, and cellulose sponges.

Safe to use on aircraft surfaces, fiberglass with gel coatings, acrylics, and polycarbonate, the Scotch-Brite® Aircraft Cleaning Pad will not alter or scratch the shine level of surfaces or coatings. Our Aircraft Cleaning Pad has been tested with aircraft cleaning agents that comply with MIL-PRF-86937D and MIL-PRF-885570C regulations, and it can also be used with a variety of other cleaners. The pad works in conjunction with pressure-washing systems and easily attaches to extension poles and 3M pad holders.

The combination of abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that provides consistent results over the product’s lifetime. The open structure material works without heating up and is resistant to loading, ensuring the abrasive minerals continue to perform at high efficiency while reducing fiber clogging.
